I put together a presentation going over the basics of VR and its potential use-cases for Architecture and the firm. I outlined how VR works, its limitations, the applications for architecture, the various software and hardware vendors offering VR products, examples of VR in use at other architecture firms, and what to keep an eye on as the technology develops.
I created a mobile VR experience as a showcase of the potential for VR. This Google Cardboard experience provided various first person perspectives of critical locations in a courtroom. The experience was packaged as an app and also as individual panoramas viewable by scanning a QR code.
I have worked with the FA on the build-out of a dedicated VR room. I have researched hardware & software requirements, given recommendations, and presented actionable steps to the management. I have tested various VR software and products to determine the best fit given the needs of the firm.
I directed multiple staff on the creation of an interactive VR experience used as a marketing tool at an industry convention.
